World Boxing Council WBC mourns with GHANA BOXING AUTHORITY

President of the World Boxing Council (WBO) Mauricio Sulaimán sent his outfits heartfelt condolences over the passing of Ghana’s International boxing referee Frederick Ghartey.

Mauricio Sulaimán wrote;

“Dear friends,

We received the sad news about the passing away of our dear friend Fred Ghartey.

On behalf of all the members of the WBC, I would like to send to you and his family our vows for God gives prompt resignation to such a deep sorrow.
We can not understand the mystery of life nor the ways that the Almighty has taken him; but we should rejoice in the goodness of his life that set so many values to those who had the fortune of being his relatives.
May his soul Rest In Peace.”

Referee Ghartey has officiated more than 60 professional fights and his death is a big blow to the boxing fraternity.
