WBO Africa Champ Patrick Allotey confident of victory against Sherif Kasongo in his Title defence

WBO Africa Super welterweight champion Patrick Allotey is highly optimistic of defending his belt successfully against Sherrif Kasongo of the Democratic Republic of Congo come 24 December 2018 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra – GHANA.

“I am going to win the fight that is for sure, I have trained for the full mandated twelve rounds. Any chance of a knockout is a plus but I am not predicting a knockout.” Patrick Allotey stated in his press conference held today at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

‘The Arrow’ must defend his WBO strap that he won against Uganda’s Badru Lusambya on (26-4-2, 24 KOs) in August via a UD.

Sherrif Katongo’s (12 -3, 6 KOs) last fight was a defeat to Tanzanian Twaha Kassimu Rubaha Kiduku in a 10 round contest on September 29, 2018.

The Ghanaian Allotey, goes into the fight with a more fight experience under his belt and an appreciable KO percentage of 75 as against his fellow counterpart from DRC who has 78 rounds of boxing with 40 percent KOs.

On the night heavyweight champ Richard Harrison Lartey must defend his WBO Africa belt against Morris Okola. and already the Jamestown native is promising a 5th round stoppage.

Then finally, Zeberu Mohammed will fight Richard Ashong in 3X8 SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT CONTEST.
