Ghana’s Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe controversially defended his IBO lightweight strap after stopping Argentina’s Fernando David ‘El-Vasco’ Saucedo last night at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Tagoe dropped Saucedo three times before the referee Roger Barnor stopped the bout in the 10th round.
The fight was Tagoe’s first defense of his IBO title after winning the belt 13 months ago when he defeated South Africa’s Mzonke Fana.
