Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe has explained how he recovered from a first round knockdown to destroy then WBO World super bantamweight champion Jessie Magdaleno last April in Philadelphia.
Dogboe went down for the first time in his professional career after Magdaleno connected a powerful hook.
The Ghanaian wasn’t despaired as he rose up. His hard work yielded dividend in round five as he dropped Magdaleno with a straight right.
In round 11, Dogboe scored two knockdowns and the referee sensing danger called off the fight.
Dogboe in an interview with Box Nation said after going down in the first round his dad/trainer advised him to stay calm.

Th 23 year-old Ghanaian is expected to make his first defense of his WBO World super bantamweight on August 25th in USA.
His opponent is yet to be announced.
