Mr. Henry Manly-Spain, Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) who has announced his intention to seek for the position of President after the tenure of Lawyer Peter Zwennes has donated 50 plastic chairs to the United Boxing Coaches Association towards their meetings.
Mr. Manly- Spain who promised to change the lives of boxers and coaches with the intervention of innovative ideas and programmes promised to have over a remaining 50 plastic chairs soon, to make it 100 for use of the coaches’ meetings and other social activities.
He said under his term, boxing will boom, and Ghana will get more world champions.
He expressed that becoming a world champion is the target and motivation of boxers and their coaches.
He commended the current President Mr. Peter Zwennes for instilling discipline among boxers and boxing fans.
According to him, boxers must be pampered and at the same time be disciplined when they go against rules and regulations to make the sport decent and attractive.
