The man in charge of the newest boxing promotional hub Don’s Promotions Michael Yarboi Annan has backed his boxers Obodai Sai and Robert Quaye to win the world title in the next one year.

In an exclusive interview with your premier authoritative boxing portal, the very experienced promoter had this to say on some of the selected questions posed to him

QUE: WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR YOUR TWO FLAGSHIP BOXERS?

“We have the mid-term plan and the long term plan, the mid term plan is within one year and we want to make them (Obadai Sai and Robert Quaye) ready for the world title in the mid term plan. And in the mid term plan, prepare them for the world title and take it latest by the close of next year.

So after this bout we are going a step further for the International fight and if push comes to shove, we are going to host it here (Ghana), because we are ready and we think the industry is ready to start hosting such big fights.

They are going to move to the WBO, that’s tough, so by next year we should be ready.”

QUE: WHO IS DON’S POMOTIONS?

For most of the promotions that you have seen coming from Box Office by Alex Ntiamoah, I have been behind with Alex Ntiamoah for the organisation of the promotions. Well, I feel he has done well, he is still on board collaborating with me on Don’s Promotions.. But i feel we should take a different direction. we should entertain and above all we should start winning the world titles.

QUE: WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR BOXERS  IN THE NEXT ONE YEAR:

“To win the world title.” He stated.

The bank roller of Don’s is predicting some five boxers to win the world strap by year ending 2019 including his two boxers.

“I think Robert Quaye and Obadai Sai, there is Sherrif Quaye who needs a little push to win the world title. Richard Commey and of course Samir Bastie.”
