The two world heavyweights after giving boxing fans a feast for their eyes in the first and second bouts have had ample time to train and rest for a third and final fight.

Deontay Wilder who was the former WBC world heavyweight champion fought Tyson Fury on the 1st of December 2018 at the Staples Centre, Los Angeles, California in a bout themed ‘Tale of the Tale’.

With the bout going the distance and despite Wilder putting Fury down to the canvas twice, the fight was ruled draw by the three judges.

The second bout which took place on the 22nd of February 2020 was one to remember as the boxers staged the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Paradise, Nevada where Tyson Fury delivered a masterpiece to win by TKO in the 7th round.

Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III, is billed as a ‘Once and For All’ decision to close the chapter between the two world heavyweights. The upcoming professional boxing trilogy fight between heavyweight champion, Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury and former WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder is set for July 24, 2021, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Information reaching airwaves indicates there has been a Covid outbreak in the camp of the current WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and this could result in a postponement of their trilogy.

With Deontay Wilder all set and ready, this could either be a setback for his preparedness, at the same time it could be an additional time for the former WBC champion to work a little more while Tyson Fury and his camp adhere to the treatment protocols with regards to COVID-19.
