THE COUNTDOWN TO TOKYO CONTINUES FOR THE BLACK BOMBERS

The Olympic Games has been one of the tournaments that has helped project many sportsmen and women across the country through the years and as Japan Olympic games beckons, it brings ample joy to both spectators and participators as it could be the propelling change they have search in their sporting career.

Coach Ofori Asare, the Black Bombers (national boxing) coach after his undented desire to see majority of his team land qualifications to the Tokyo Olympic games has remained focus and ensured his boxers continue to remain focus and prepared as a little change in their dynamic could be detrimental to their physical and mental preparedness.

Coach Asare has continued his routine with his boxers as he has reiterated keeping fitness is the winner’s mentality and his desire is to see all his boxers walk into the ring with an eye on a medal.

In their recent visit to the Ghana Olympic Committee, the Black Bombers together with their champion coach, Ofori Asare continued to use the medium to assure Ghanaians and boxing lovers they would bring home medals to justify the relentless training that handed them the qualification in the first place.

The Ghana Olympic Committee and its members expressed their unending support to all the qualified athletes reading themselves for the Olympic Games and Tokyo and assured them of their full support in ensuring they are motivated enough to clinch gold for Ghana and for the numerous openings.

Coach Ofori Asare together with the qualified athletes and newly appointed substantive public relations officer to the Ghana Boxing Authority, Mr. Sammy Heywood Okine availed themselves to the office of the G.O.C to extend their warm regards and deliberate on going forward.
