Team Tagoe Visits AMA Boss Ahead of Title Defense of January 27

Emmanuel Tagoe and his team, Baby Jet Promotions, paid a visit to the Metropolitan Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Hon, Mohammed Adjei Sowah.

On Thursday, Tagoe and his team were at the offices of the AMA to officially invite Mr. Sowah for his upcoming fight at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Tagoe will be facing Argentina’s Fernando David Saucedo on the said date and it will be his defense of his IBO lightweight belt.

However, the AMA boss assured Team Tagoe that he will be at the ring side to to watch him on the aforementioned date.

Mr. Sowah reiterated reiterated efforts to promote boxing in Accra to unearth and develop young talents for the nation.

He said unearthing and developing talents at such level had been his passion since it was the only way future stars can be groomed for the country.

He also noted that it would help identify young stars for the promotion and growth of the sports and provide the platform for them to access their strengths and skills among their colleagues.

Mr Anim Addo, CEO of Baby Jet Promotions, Mr Asamoah Gyan (Owner of Baby Jet romotions) had done a lot for Accra, and that “it was time for Accra to reciprocate the gesture, hence the call on the AMA for support”.

He thanked the Mayor for his continuous support and the encouragement he gave to Emmanuel Tagoe to fully pursue and develop his talents.
