Super featherweight prospect, Sheriff Quaye has thrown down a challenge at his compatriot Abraham Osei Bonsu.
Quaye wants to be the best boxer in the super featherweight division hence the decision to fight the champion.
“I want to fight Osei Bonsu,”Quaye told Boxingghana.com.”I want to take that belt from him, so he should just accept to fight me.”
“I’m the best in the division, he is just the champion, but i’m the best. I’m ready to fight him any day because i know the kind of boxer i am.”
“I will not take anything away from Bonsu, he is a good boxer, very strong but i will destroy him when we meet in the ring.”
Quaye won the national super featherweight strap in December 2017 when he defeated Felix Ajom via majority decision at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
