Ghanaian referee Roger Barnor has expressed satisfaction with his performance last Saturday night at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Many Ghanaians believed Barnor performed poorly on the night following his decision to waved off the bout in favour of Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe.

A lot of people at the Bukom Boxing Arena weren’t enthused with Branor’s output as they believed he cheated Fernando David Saucedo from Argentina.

“For me to rate myself, i will always give my self 11/10,”Barnor told Boxingghana.com.

“My performance was more than 100% because actually you can never be less than 100% Consentrative in officiating the game of boxing.”

He continued, “Boxing is not like a football were by if you whistle for something or something you don’t understand you will go to your assistant referee, the match commissioner or the fourth referee to help you, but in boxing you suppose to take a decision within a split second. You are not suppose to even ask your judge what went on.”

Last Saturday’s fight was Tagoe’s first defense of his IBO lightweight belt.
