Super lightweight prospect Robert Quaye has signed for Don’s Promotions 10 days after leaving Baby Jet Promotions.
Quaye initially signed for Baby Jet Promotions which is owned by Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan but 6 days later the contract was terminated.
According to Baby Jet Promotions, they took the decision to terminate the contract after Quaye’s managers threatened them with a legal suit.
But Quaye can now smile as he has been signed by Don’s Promotions owned by Michael Yarboi Annan.
Don’s Promotions took to their official Facebook handle to announce the deal.
“Robert ‘Stopper’ Quaye has officially been transferred from his parent management to Don’s Promotion for both management and promotion.”
Quaye is expected to make a return to the ring on December 26th at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
His last outing was two months ago when he stopped his compatriot Kpakpo Allotey in round 9 to win the National Super lightweight belt.
