Richard Commey’ promoter Lou Dibella of DiBella Entertainment has confirmed that the Ghanaian will make a return to the ring on August 4th at Nassau Colisuem in New York.
The Ghanaian was originally billed to fight on the undercard of the unification bout between Mikey Garcia (WBC World lightweight champion) and Robert Easter (IBF World lightweight champion) on July 28th.

On the aforementioned date, Commey will take on Mexico’s Yardley Amanta Cruz.
Commey-Cruz battle will be on the undercard of Devon Alexander and Andre Berto.
Commey, who is IBF’s number one contender will take on the winner between Garcia vs Easter.
The James Town earned the shot to challenge for the World Title for the second time after destroying Alejandro Luna in seven last March.
His first World Title fight was two years ago, but he lost via a controversial decision to Robert Easter Jnr.
