Ghana’s Richard Commey, has moved to 4th in the lightweight division in the latest World Boxing Council (WBC) rankings for the month of March.
Commey last month was ranked 5th, but this time he has moved a place up.
Last week, Commey stopped Alejandro Luna in round six in an IBF World lightweight eliminator.
Commey has now gotten the opportunity to face IBF World lightweight champion Robert Easter Jr – their clash will be a rematch.
The duo fought in September 2016 for the then vacant IBF lightweight belt, but Easter won via controversial split decision.
