Mr. Robert Safo Mensah, Director-General of the National Sports Authority(NSA) has wished Ghana’s Isaac ‘Royal storm’ Dogboe (17-0, 11KOs) the best of luck ahead of his Saturday’s fight.
Dogboe will face Mexico’s Cesar Juarez (20-5, 15KOs) for the vacant interim WBO World super bantamweight belt at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
“I want to wish Isaac Dogboe the best of luck in his upcoming fight,” Mr. Mensah told Boxingghana.com.
“On behalf of the government i want to wish him well, the country is solidly behind him and we are hopeful of his chances against Cesar Juarez,” he added.
The winner between Dogboe and Juarez will face full WBO World super bantamweight champion Jesse Magdaleno who is currently injured.
If Dogboe wins, he will be ending Ghana’s eight-year World title drought.
