Top Rank chairman, Bob Arum, has revealed that Isaac Dogboe’s fight against Jessie Magdaleno is on April 14th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, USA.
Magdaleno will be making his first defense of his WBO World super bantamweight belt against the 23 year-old Ghanaian.
The experienced promoter in an interview with ESPN confirmed that the fight was initially billed to come off on April 28th but he decided to move it to the April 14 show to beef up the pay-per-view.
Dogboe-Magdaleno clash will be on the card of Jeff Horn – Terence Crawford and Manny Pacquiao – Mike Alvarado.
Dogboe set himself up for the mandatory shot against Magdaleno after stopping Mexico’s Cesar Juarez in the fifth round in an action-packed fight on Jan. 6 in Accra, Ghana, to win the vacant interim WBO World super bantamweight title.
Ahead of the upcoming fight the two boxers have already started throwing barbs at each other on social media.
