The much awaited clash between WBO World super bantamweight champion Jessie Magdaleno from Mexico and Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe has been pushed to April 28th and it will take place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.
Magdaleno-Dogboe was originally set to be the co-feature to Terence Crawford’s showdown versus Jeff Horn. That entire card, which was scheduled for April 14th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada, has been postponed because of an injury to Crawford’s right hand during a sparring session.
“We were informed of the fight’s date change on Wednesday morning,”Dogboe’s father/trainer told Boxingghana.com. “The date changed because of an injury to Terence Crawford so we are cool with the new date.”
Magdaleno will be making his second defense of his strap against the hard hitting Ghanaian.
