Former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has not ruled out a possible comeback to professional boxing.

Responding in a relaxed and confident posture, the former world champion Stated ” well, I was right with that quote, You never say never. Things can change, people often change careers during their lifetime”.

Look at Arnold Schwarzenegger; he was an athlete, then an actor, then a politician, then businessman and now he’s involved in taking care of the planet.

Maybe if I feel the time is right to help a certain charity, I’ll get back in the ring.”

Klitschko (64-5, 53KO) who lost to Anthony Joshua in April 2017 before officially announcing his retirement and now a philanthropist with an incredible history of having over half a million children benefited from the project in the past 15 years is opimistic of a possible comeback but only for charity reasons.

The Klitschko foundation project focuses on education and sports.

At the offices of the Klitschko foundation, when quizzed by a DW reporter over a possible comeback, he responded by saying

“I had great times in the 27 years I spent in the sport. I learned a lot and traveled a lot, which was my goal when I first started boxing.

I have achieved what I never dreamt of; I have done and experienced things that I had never even thought about. I’ve learned that when some doors close, others open. It’s all life experience and sport is really amazing.”

I will quote Nelson Mandela ” sport has power to change the world because it’s a global thing.” Stated the Ukranian.

You recalled that last year 2017, the former undisputed heavyweight champion hung up his gloves after a defeat by Anthony Joshua infront of the packed 90,000 capacity crowd at Wembley.
