Jacob Tetteh vs. Rahman Lawson; A Fight Both Fighters And The Fans Wants To See

Boxinghana.com has been informed from a reliable source that current West Africa Boxing Union (WABU) Super Welterweight champion Jacob Tetteh Laryea and Musah Rahman Lawson (Ghana National Super Welterweight champion) have been trading words lately, with both claiming to be superior over the other in the super welterweight division.

With some fans also eager to see this fight happen, the various teams involved could allow both super welterweight champs settle the score once and for all with both the National title and the WABU strap at stake; winner takes all.

In an exclusive interview with Musah Lawson (10-0, 8 KOs) way back in July 2021, he expressed how eager he’s been dreaming to become the National Super Welterweight champion as well as winning big titles

“I fell in love with boxing at an early age and all I see was having one of those big belts around my waist. I have no idea what it takes to own one but I am sure one day I will get it”. More of that interview can be accessed via link  below:

Exclusive: ITS TIME TO BE THE NATIONAL SUPER WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION: MUSAH LAWSON

Fast forward, Musah Rahman Lawson is the current National champion just as he dreamt after he knocked out his nemesis Victus Kemavor on December 24, 2021. With immense desire to win titles, Lawson will be eager to face Jacob Tetteh Laryea for his WABU title.

The reigning WABU Super Welterweight champion, Jacob Tetteh Laryea (9-0, 8 KOs) isn’t a novice either in the boxing business crashing every foe he’s met in the square ring. The 29 year-old champion exactly a month ago won the WABU title via a unanimous decision against Emmanuel Quaye at the Idrowhyt Event Centre, Dansoman, Accra.

A matchup such as Jacob Laryea versus Musah Rahman will be a fight both ends will love to see happen as well as the fans. Both Laryea and Rahman remain undefeated in their professional career with both commanding incredible knock out ratios; 88.89% and 80% respectively.

The Promoters in collaboration with GBA should make this happen in a Winner Takes All affair as this could whet the appetite of the upcoming ones climb to the top.
