Reigning interim WBO World super bantamweight champion, Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe, presented his strap to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
Dogboe alongside his father/trainer Paul Dogboe and Ellis Quashigah (member of Team Dogboe) were in Kumasi on Sunday for the ‘Akwasidae Festival’ and they took advantage of the ocassion to present the WBO belt to the traditional ruler.
Dogboe made history two weeks ago as he became Ghana’s youngest World champion after stopping Mexico’s Juarez in round five to win the interim WBO World super bantamweight belt.
Dogboe is now in line to face the full WBO World super bantamweight champion Jessie Magdaleno.
The date for Dogboe-Magdaleno mega fight is yet to be confirmed.
