Newly crowned WBO World super bantamweight champion, Isaac Dogboe says he is ready to retire as the youngest champion if his father/trainer Paul Dogboe decides to call it a quit.

After guiding his son to win Ghana’s ninth world title two weeks ago against then champion Jessie Magdaleno, senior Dogboe, revealed that he is ready to handover his son to a different person.

But according to the 23 year-old hard puncher, if his dad decide to quit, he will also retire.

“My dad has always been my backbone, if my dad should retire then i believe that i have paid my dues to the nation of Ghana so i’m going to retire as a very young world champion,” Dogboe said.

Dogboe has earned a year deal with Top Rank following his impressive display against Magdaleno.
