Ghana’s Richard Commey’s IBF World lightweight eliminator fight with America’s Alejandro Luna has been rescheduled for March 10th in Texas.

The bout was billed to come off on February 10th on the card of Sergey Lipinets and Mikey Garcia fight but it was postponed following a training injury to Lipinets’ hand.

After Lipinets was examined by his medical team, the aforementioned date has been approved for him to fight.

However, Commey’s manager Michael Amoo-Bediako in an interview with Boxingghana.com confirmed that his charge will be fighting Luna on March 10th.

“It is true Commey will fight Luna on March 10th, but i have to get an official confirmation,” he said.

Commey is current in the USA preparing for his upcoming assignment.

The winner between Commey and Luna will take on IBF World lightweight champion, Robert Easter Jnr.
