Ghana’s Richard Commey has issued a stern warning to Mexico’s Yardley Cruz ahead of Saturday’s night show in USA.
The Ghanaian who is leaving no stone unturned has vowed to destroy Cruz when he enters the ring with that latter.
According to Commey, he will finish Cruz because the Mexican can’t stand his way.
“I’m ready to rumble this Saturday,”Commey told Boxingghana.com. “I’m going to finish him [YardleyCruz] quick.”
When asked whether he has some knowledge about the fighting style of Cruz, he said, “I have seen little bit of him. He has been around and fought some good names out there.”
Commey, who is IBF number one contender in the lightweight division has a date with Mikey Garcia who holds the IBF World lightweight strap.
Garcia defeated Robert Easter Jr. last week Saturday to unify the IBF and WBC lightweight belts.
Following Garcia’s triumph over Easter, the IBF notified him to defend his belt against the Ghanaian. He has up to August 30th to reach an agreement with Commey or purse would be ordered.
