Ghanaian female boxing enthusiast, Sarah Lotus Asare has been appointed the Executive Secretary of the World Boxing Council’s WBC Cares Africa.
Sarah Asare’s appointment comes following her humanitarian work in the Ghanaian boxing industry.
A boxing columnist with boxinghana.com, Sarah Lotus Asare is the daughter of renowned Ghanaian boxing coach and Head coach of the Black Bombers, Oxford Asare.
About WBC Cares Africa:
WBC Cares is the humanitarian wing of the World Boxing Council and has volunteer members in 166 Countries.
The body sends World Champion athletes into youth centers, hospital, gyms, orphanages and disaster areas with supplies and a message of inspiration.
Although their primary focus is on youth, WBC Cares also bond with compassionate, like-minded organizations to assist them with their causes.
