Ghana’s Nathaniel Nukpe (12-2-1, 12 KOs) will be storming Nigeria this Sunday to challenge for the Africa Boxing Union lightweight belt.
Nukpe will take on Nigeria’s slugger Otto Joseph (11-0, 4 KOs) for the latter’s aforementioned strap.
The upcoming fight will be Otto’s second defense of the belt after claiming a win over Ahmed Abdulrahim in December 2017.
He defeated Prince Nwoye last April to make his first defense.
His title is now at risk as he will be facing the hard-hitting southpaw from Ghana.
The fight will be Nukpe’s second professional fight outside the shores of Ghana – his first was in 2015 when he was stopped by Kehinde Bhadmus in Burkina Faso, the fight happened to be his debut.
Nukpe’s last outing was last month when he stopped Raymond Ansah in round two.
