Ghana’s finest Roger Barnor elected by IBF Prez to officiate John Koudeha vs Victus Kemavor

Daryl Peoples, President for International Boxing Federation (IBF) has elected Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) best referee Roger Barnor to officiate the bout between Togolese John Koudeha versus Ghana’s Victus Kemavor in place of Manyi Issa as one of the undercards of Joseph Agbeko vs Hashimu Zuberi bout to be staged at the Aborigenes Beach Resort, Keta, Ghana on the 19th of April, 2019.

Roger Barnor has so far officiated 340 career bouts as a referee/ judge and is one of Ghana’s most trusted and respected referee. His last game was the vacant World Boxing Organisation Africa Cruiserweight Title (supervisor: Samir Captan) between Ghana’s Abraham Tabul against Patrick Ferguson at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra-Ghana.

The Jamestown native has curve a niche for himself and is internationally respected as one of the best referees in the world. He is currently set to officiate some important bouts in the next British and Irish Boxing Authority’s conference which commences on the 24th-26th of April. “Straight after this prestigious assignment, I will be heading to the United Kingdom where I will be officiating two championship contests, the Tommy Jacobs versus Ishmael Tetteh Professional Boxing Council International Super Middleweight Title fight on the final day of the Association of Professional Boxing Commissions Annual Convention, then I will be traveling to Lincoln on the 27th April to officiate at the Nathan Decastro versus Daniel Adjei Sowah World Boxing Union Super Middleweight World Title fight.” He expressed.
