Ghanaian heavyweight boxer, Richard Lartey Harrison who is rated in Africa has promised to put Ghana on the map of world heavyweight boxing by winning the WBO Africa title and move into the world ranks.
Speaking to Yours Truly at the Sandbox Beach Resort at South La where the weigh in of the Cabic Promotions Big Fight Night took place, he said his opponent would be overwhelmed and can never stand him because he has trained very well and he is in the best shape of his life.
Harrison who was supposed to fight Okolla Morris from Nigeria has been handed another challenger from Burkina Faso, and has vowed to make his opponent kiss the canvas.
With a record of 12 fights and one lose, with 9 of his victims going down by knock out, Harrison said he is highly motivated to fight once again in front of his home fans, and will end the fight on time.
For the main fight of the night, Ghana’s Patrick Allotey will face a challenger from Uganda by name Badru Lasanbya who said he will take the title as well as Allotey’s wife.
His utterance made Allotey annoyed and wanted to fight at the weigh in.
Other boxers on Saturday’s bill are Emmanuel Martey, Emmanuel Quaye and others.
Cabic Promotions has lined up top musicians to thrill fans.
