The man under whose tenure pugilism in Ghana has metamorphosed to its highest pinnacle as the boss of Ghana Boxing Authority, Lawyer Peter Zwennes , has unflinchingly backed Ghana’s pride and world junior super featherweight champion Isaac Dogboe to defend his strap with ease against Emanuel Navarrette come Saturday 8th of December.

“Isaac is a great boxer ….I am not bothered about anyone Isaac fights because I know his worth. What I can say is that he is going to win the fight against Emanuel Navarrete.” the GBA Boss stated.

The royal storm is set to embark on his second defence of his strap that he bravely took away from the then undefeated super bantamweight champ, Mexican American, Jesse Magdaleno early in the year via an 11th round TKO after suffering a first round knockdown himself.

Madison Square Gardens in New York on Saturday night will see the pride of volta live in his quest to become undisputed.

Isaac Dogboe (20-0, 14 KOs) must passed through the challenge of Emanuel Navarrete (25-1, 22 KOs) if his ambition to unify the division next year against either WBC world champion, Rey Vargas or WBA titleholder, Daniel Roman.

Emanuel Navarrete Martinez alias Vaquero is hoping to unseat the Ghanaian who is rumoured to be the one most feared boxer in the super bantamweight class.

The Mexican has been talking big ahead of the fight on his chances but the young man who goes by the tagline ‘NEHO’ is optimistic of a stark knockout in what promises to be a great exchange of fist in about a fortnight away.
