Tyson Luke Fury is set for the biggest test of his career after Klitschko but he is upbeat on how he plans to spend his purse. Speaking in an interview with The Daily Star, the British and world lineal heavyweight champion indicated where he intends to use his money

“I’m going to give it to the poor and I’m going to build homes for the homeless.

I don’t really have much use for it, I’m not interested in becoming a millionaire or a billionaire.

I’m a boxer not a businessman and I’ll probably go down the same route as every other boxer skint at the end of it all.

You can’t take it with you so I might as well do something with it and help out people who can’t help themselves.” Fury added.

We are left with less than 5 days to the titanic clash between the one time ring magazine fighter of the year when he KO’d the then monopolized undefeated champion, Wladimir Klitchsko just a little over three years ago.

Fury like Wilder is undefeated and once held the unified WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO titles after invoking the biggest upset in the antecedents of pugilism chronicles by defeating long-reigning champion, a warrior best noted for his unique knockout power with a combination of heavy jab, left hook and a heavy right hand in Wladimir Klitchsko.
In their combined 67 professional bouts, the Staples Center in Los Angeles is braced for one of the most anticipated boxing wars in the undefeated heavyweight division in recent years.

Named after former heavyweight great Mike Tyson, Tyson Fury has a great boxing lineage aside the fact that he has fought more credible boxers than the American Wilder.

To the connoisseur’s of the game, Deontay Wilder’s biggest opposition was Cuban Louis Ortiz as against Fury with crack boxers like Dereck Chisora, Klitschko and so on.

But Wilder is peaking at the right time as his biggest test was equally his last bout of which he showed good chin and resilience to come back from a near knockdown in the seventh round to end the Cuban’s unbeaten record.

According to the self styled ‘Gypsy King’ there is no man born of a woman that he fears.

“There isn’t a man born from his mother that Tyson Fury is afraid of, and especially not a man who wears pigtails every day. I don’t fear anything about him.” responding to an earlier assertion by Wilder.

DYNAMICS

While Fury is still a big threat, fact still linger that he went into a boxing hibernation for three good years and made his comeback just in June against Sefer Seferi. Perhaps two additional fights would have convinced skeptics of his potential but make no mistake, Fury is a big threat to Wilder on any day regardless.
