Fight night is almost here as unified lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12KOs) is set to defend his WBA (Super), IBF and WBO world light straps against another undefeated American George Kambosos Jr (19-0, 10KOs) this Saturday 19th June, at LoanDepot Park, Miami, Florida, USA.
With the ‘Ferocious’ Kambosos determined to prove doubters wrong, Teofimo Lopez aims to finish off this fight with a win and focus on a likely rematch with Vasyl Lomachenko.

Hence, George Kambosos Jr believes Lopez is underestimating him.
“I believe he is underestimating me to a point, but I believe he fears me as well,”
“There’s a lot of holes in his game, and we have come up with a great game plan to pinpoint [those] holes and make this kid [Lopez] look very very silly,” on the game plan concerning the holes, he said
“He relies on his power; he relies on three or four continuous shots. But we have created a great game plan and we are ready for whichever way this goes. If certain things don’t happen on the night, certain things we think he’s gonna do, then we have [plans] B, C, D, E; we are ready for whatever he brings to the table.
“My speed, my explosive power — he’s going to be very shocked — the way I move, my ring IQ, I can do it all. And if we’re gonna make it a brawl, we’ll brawl. And if we’re gonna box and pick him apart, then I’ll pick him apart. But whatever we have to do to win this fight, by any means necessary, I’m coming back to Australia with those beautiful five belts.”
Making reference to Lopez’s surprise win over Lomachenko, Kambosos explains to ESPN what’s going to happen at Miami this Saturday
“I did see a possibility of him beating Lomachenko, because I knew the will power of a young hungry fighter; I’m in that situation right now and I know how motivated you get when so much is on the line,”
The unified champion, Lopez hasnt talked much on the fight and might have his plans well tailored for rumble night in Miami.
