The General Captain of the Ghana contingent at the upcoming Tokyo Olympic games Captain Sulemana Tetteh expressed gratitude to the entire team and management for their support and commitment towards the success of the Black Bombers and the entire team as a whole.
In an exclusive video, Sulemana Tetteh shared a message of appreciation and also their vision for the games. He said, “we thank God for his protection from Ghana to Inawashiro to Tokyo, the game village. I want to thank everyone who is supporting us, the president of GOC, Ben Nunoo Mensah and all the staff of the Ghana Olympic Committee for appointing me as flagbearer and general captain”.
In his posture during the exclusive video, Sulemana Tetteh also sought to show Ghanaians the scenery with a scintillating view of Tokyo with a welcoming weather good for sports.
He continued, “for now I can tell you that we are here for a purpose, we are left with one week to the games and I want to assure all Ghanaians that we are very ready. So far so good, everyone who came here came with a purpose, they came to win a medal, no one came here to joke but we are more prepared and determined.”
This gives his team more confidence as the general captain is full of confidence and keep assuring his team of laurels. His commitment level both at training and off training is exceptional and a feat to emulate.
With the preparations they had on their journey to the Olympics, it is believed that the Black Bombers as well as other athletes representing Ghana at the Olympic are ready to deliver and make Ghana proud.
