Emmanuel Tagoe the WBO Africa Lightweight king’s fight with Russian Vyacheslav Gusev has been called off due to injury.
Tagoe 30, (29-1-0, 14KO) is reported to have twisted his hand during training in the early hours of Tuesday January 22.
He has been examined by a team of doctors who mandated a 10-day rest to allow the hand to heal.
Meanwhile the fight has been rescheduled to February 23 to allow the hand to heal completely.
The bout was billed to take place this Saturday the 26 of January at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra,Ghana.
