Ghana’s Duke Micah (21-0, 18 KOs) is set to return to the ring on April 25th in  USA against yet to be named opponent.

Micah has been putting in a lot of work as he has vowed to win a World title for Ghana.

“My managers have confirmed the bout for the 25th of next month with discussions on the opponent and the venue of the bout to be concluded very soon,” Micah told Class FM.

“I have been looking for this great opportunity and with a confirmation of the date, I’m only going to intensify my training with my handlers. You know I’ve always wanted to be a world champion from my amateur days, so, this is very good news for me and my team.”

Micah made his USA in November 2017 when he defeated Jose Santos Gonzalez via majority decision to defend his WBC international bantamweight strap.

The former Olympian first won the WBC belt in March 2017 when he stopped Mexico’s Jonathan Aguilar in round seven at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana
