It is now official as Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe will take on WBO World super bantamweight champion Jessie Magdaleno. The official fight poster is now out.

The fight will be held at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, USA on April 28th and it will be live on ESPN.

The bout was originally set to be the co-feature to Terence Crawford’s showdown versus Jeff Horn but that entire card, which was scheduled for April 14th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada, has been postponed because of an injury to Crawford’s right hand during a sparring session.

Crawford was to face WBO world welterweight champion Horn in the main event.

The clash will be Magdaleno’s second defense of his WBO belt – the Mexican hasn’t fought since April 2017 when he stoped Adeilson Dos Santos to make his first defense of his strap.

Dogboe set himself up against Magdaleno after destroying Cesar Juarez in round five on January 6th, 2018 to win the interim WBO World super bantamweight belt.
