John Laryea, the young boxer recently signed on by Chief Executive Officer of Gyan Investments has commended his managers for exposing him and supporting him to realize his dream as a world boxing champion.
The 18 year old from Bronx Gym at James Town who won his second professional bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena under the Bukom Fist of Fury Fight Night 3 against a tough Nigerian, Amadu said God has been good to him, and he thanks the Almighty and his managers and sponsors for his recent achievements.
Also known as the ‘Expensive Boxer’, Laryea specially mentioned Champion Dishes with headquarters at Adabraka in Accra for supplying him with all the nutritious meals to be fit and healthy.
Champion Dishes who have special relations with Baby Jet Foundation were also part of the international youth Football tournament played at the Accra Academy astro turf park.
Emmanuel Quaye, general operations manager of champion dishes said they support productive initiatives and love sports activities.
The Ghana Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Committee member hinted that he wishes athletics, football and boxing will give Ghana medals.
He advised future Olympians to be focused and train hard to realize their dreams.
