Mexico’s Cesar Juarez has stated that he will stop Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe on January 6th.

Juarez will face Dogboe for the interim WBO world super bantamweight belt at the Bukom Boxing in Accra, Ghana.

And ahead of the fight, the Mexican has revealed his target for the upcoming fight, according to  Juarez he will KO Dogboe.

“I’m going to go find the knockout and we’re going to start from the beginning with everything, as I’m always used to doing, from the first round I’m going to go out and die on the line in search of the knockout, I’m not going to leave any doubt. To win in Ghana, where I will not be the favorite, the most effective thing to do is to look for the knockout,” said Juarez, 26, and 20-5 with 15 knockouts, to ESPN Deportes.

Juarez will travel over next week with Manuel López and Margarito Juarez, as well as with Luis Zápari and Sean Gibbons.

And although many believe that fighting in a foreign country should be something to stay away from, he has actually been used to fighting away from home and against everything.

“Unfortunately since I started in my career as a boxer I never had the backing of a company that was taking care of me, since early in my career I was going to fight in the wolf’s cave, I went to places where everything was against me, where I was a completely unknown, I think I have the capacity to take on this great challenge of going to another country and putting the name of Mexico on a high spot and winning,” Juarez stated.

The Mexican stressed that this will be his second degree, after having obtained a Law Degree and a Masters in Criminal Science. A totally different challenge and with much more adrenaline.

“Academics and sports are different things, boxing is a contact sport in which life is exposed and where you have to always do things well to get good results, this sport is very jealous. It feels very nice, I have a bachelor’s degree in law with a master’s degree in criminal science, but I want the world title in boxing, I want to be a different, peculiar boxer, I want to be a person prepared in both areas, in sports and as a professional.”
