The Management of Babyjet Promotions led by Asamoah Gyan promised boxing fans in Ghana and beyond to do everything possible to provide boxing fans a night full of fireworks and excitements to compensate for what happened last Saturday at the enclosed auditorium of Bukum Boxing Arena.
The statement was made on Tuesday and Friday at the Hill View Guest House and Bukom Boxing Arena respectively by the President of Asamoah Gyan Investment and the bankroller of Babyjet Promotions, Asamoah Gyan during the press conference and weigh-in of the much anticipated WBO AFRICA LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE fight between Ghana’s Emmanuel “Game Boy”Tagoe and Namibia’s Paulus “The Hitman” Moses.
“Babyjet Promotions has indeed helped in bringing back excitement and passion in Ghana boxing.We can all see how boxing is taking shape. We shall continue to contribute our quota to the development of boxing in Ghana. Let me also assure all boxing fans that security will be properly structured and so no body should be scared of anything regarding security because we have done everything humanly possible to avoid any security lapses”- Gyan stated.
Both Tagoe and Moses were former world champions and are looking forward to relaunch a fresh journey to clinch another world title, this time around through the WBO system.
Emmanuel Tagoe who lost his IBO world lightweight title for failing to mandatory defend the title, still pride himself of an impressive record of 29 fights, 1defeat, 28 wins with 14 kos.
Paulus Moses who arrived in Ghana on Monday also lost the vacant WBA World Lightweight in February this year to Raymundo Beltran, Mexican boxer based in Arizona,USA, is ready to re-established his credibility as a world beater and held high his rich record of 45 fights,4 defeats,31 wins with 25kos.
The two former world champions have promised a clean fight full of excitement and professionalism.
