British Nigerian heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is bullishly confident and has announced “I’m ready” in response to Tyson Fury match-up for a possible unification bout this year 2021.
Anthony Joshua’s ninth round stoppage win scored over Kubrat Pulev has send shivers to the heavyweight world announcing his return to full confidence with some style.
“I want to take his head off his shoulders when the fight happens” Anthony Joshua stated after Fury went on Instagram to claim he would dispatch his fellow world champion in three rounds.
But the World Boxing Council heavyweight champion has equally called Joshua’s bluff, stating:
“I’ve never seen him take anybody’s head off anybody’s shoulders in all his fights, so it’s probably another lie. We’ll see if he’s got the guts to try when I’m in front of him”
For many connoisseurs of the game this is certainly the best matchup after news of camp Wilder apprehensive of a trilogy.
Purportedly, talks are still on-going between the two camps but what is clear is the undeniable fact that both Fury and Joshua are ready to unify the heavyweight division.
