Isaac Dogbe handed a stunning 5th round knockout against Mexico’s Caesar Juarez at the Bukom Boxing Arena Saturday night.
The rising star from the Volta region started with a blistering first round performance and succeeded in drawing first blood on the nostrils of the Mexican.
It was a naked evidence that the Ghanaian had won the first round.
The second round began with enormous fury as both boxers gave out their best. Yet again boxing ghana scored the round for the Ghanaian. Juarez was handed his first knockdown as a ferocious left hook from Dogbe sent him to the canvass.
The third round was even more exciting as Juarez recovered from the earlier shocker.
By the 5th round the chants of the crowd had sunk the confidence of the Mexican.
Exactly 2mins 5secs into the 5th round a wicked punch from the Ghanaian rolled Juarez unto the canvass. He went flying backwards and got dazed. Referee Tony Weeks had no option than to stop the fight.
A new champion is born. Dogbe in his appreciation remarks said he was set for Jesse MAGDALENO.
