“Dear fam,

My 2021 is complete. 😇I had waited for this moment for a long time and God granted my heart desire to sing directly once again, to the legend #AzumaNelson on his birthday.  The story of my life is incomplete without telling how he sponsored my secondary school education at the time when all hope to further my schooling was almost dead. LIVE LONG PROFESSOR AZUMA NELSON.

This man is a true champion and he deserved all the time that the entire nation stayed awake to watch him fight in the ring. God bless you.!!”

This appreciation and positive celebration posted a day after the “Professor Zoom Zoom”’s birthday emphasize the role of sports in social impact and progress.

This post has also positive marketing for Ghana Boxing and World Boxing. It also emphasize on an area missing among the young boxers in our part of the world. That is, using their resources and influence to impact the communities they grew up in and the underprivileged in society.

Do you agree it is time for boxers, clubs, coaches, promoters, Referees, federations and managers to move beyond their confines and engage in acts of kindness to make Ghana better? Is it time for boxing players to incorporate social impacts in to their activities? Well then hear this action call is for us all because what defines a true champion is not the victory you score in the ring but the impression you have on the world around you, especially the people who hail you! Champion! Champion! Champion!
