At only 12 years old, Joseph Awinongya Jr. is considered one of boxing’s young prospects, compiling a  record 4-time USA national champion and a two-time Junior Olympics back to back winner in the just ended 48th Junior Olympics staged at Wisconsin.

One of the most decorated young promising world title prospect who last won the prestigious Silver Gloves National Championship 2017 has never looked back in his pretty illustrous career as he added to his trophy cabinet for the second time the USA boxing’s Junior Olympics ultimate gold in the 90lbs division in some fashion on Friday, the 28th June.

In collaboration with the USA boxing Inc, HSTV Ghana was successful in telecasting the bout live into the homes of all Ghanaians as they watched their star of the future dazzle and display with maturity and class act throughout the tournament with some peerless performances much to the pride and adoration of the citizenry.

This partnership coverage ably made possible by the USA boxing is expected to extend for more years to come.

The young fighter is tipped by boxing greats including the professor Azumah Nelson to become the next big thing in boxing in an exclusive interview with BoxingGhana set to feature in a documentary currently on-going on the young boxing sensation.
