Everyday is business for Bronx Gym boxers – Sammy Anim Addo

The CEO of Bronx Boxing Gym and Promotions,  Mr. Sammy Anim Addo has disclosed to sports journalists that boxers of the Bronx Gym take their training very serious and he has instituted a slogan “Everyday is business day” which keeps them always working hard and motivated.

He said in Boxing no one knows when the opportunity of a big fight will come so boxers must always be in good condition and fight best to attract best promotions.

Speaking at the gym last Friday during the historic visit of coach Don Charles from the United Kingdom, he said boxers from the Bronx Gym are always determined, hungry for success and ready to display their skills.

“We love to win that is why we have more champions and we have branded ourselves well to attract support, sponsorship and partnership so all our boxers have managers and trainers who ensure their basic needs are met” he expressed.

He thanked Coach Don Charles for his visit which has lifted the image of the Bronx Boxing Gym and raised the morale of all the boxers.

According to the former Ghana Football Association executive board member he loves sports in general and ready to push sportsmen who are eager to win.

He noted that the focus for now is on John Abaja Laryea also called The Expensive Boxer who will be shifting camp soon to experience his first major bout outside Africa.

The undefeated Layea will face Nicaraguan Alexander Mejia in Caribe Royale, Orlando.on November 1, 2024 and he asked Ghanaians and African boxing fans to pray for victory.

Laryea was one of the boxers who trained with Coach Don Charles and gathered some few lessons for his next assignment.

Mr.Samuel Anim Addo is popularly known in soccer circles as manager of Asamoah Gyan and the Baby Jet Foundation. He is also the main man at Soccer Apostles who now campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
