According to NDTV news, this festive day after the Ramadan is the first day of the tenth month on the Islamic calender.

Last month, several members of the Black Bombers team shared with us how they combined boxing with the Ramadan (fasting).

Eid-ul-Fitr, which is one of the most celebrated festivals in Islam has been marked on by various boxers in Ghana.

Wahid Omar, a member of the Black Bombers team took to social media to wish Muslims world-wide.

The sole Ghanaian boxer who represented in Rio 2016, shared a photo standing with his family with the caption “Eid Mubarak to all Muslims around the Globe”

He also shared a video on his Instagram account @abdulwahid.omar.716 listening to music with the same caption.

Fans of the boxer responded with various comments, some commented on his outfit

For instance: Patrick Kodjoe commented “looking good champ”

Efta Slinky said “splendid”

Others like Amolga Gambo said “Nice one brother”
