Ghanaian Super Lightweight Champion Robert Quaye has responded to both Vincent Mbilinyi and his coach James Nsangi ahead of their boxing day bout scheduled at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

“What I have to say is, I don’t see Vincent Mbilinyi as a boxer and somebody who can beat me. I’ve been hungry for long and I don’t think Mbilinyi can beat me. I’m looking for Maurice Hooker who is the holder of the WBO Super Lightweight title.” The self styled ‘Stopper’ Stated.

The young fighter, Quaye, who is tipped by connoisseurs of the pugilist business as a world contender, was bullishly sure of a victory and even better predicted the round.

“So pleading with all Ghanaians and my fans to be at the Bukom Boxing Arena by 5:30 pm, because Mbilinyi won’t cross round 5; I will knock him out.” Robert exclaimed.

Robert “the stopper” Quaye is promising to deliver against his Tanzanian bragger, Mbinyili on the 26th night at the Bukom Boxing Arena

“I’ve heard whatever he said at the Airport but what I will say is, God should grant us life for us to fight on December 26. I’m in to win the title to improve upon my records.”

Indeed a thrilling night of boxing is beckoning in two days time. The fight is going to be aired live on Star times’ channel Adepa.

Tickets are already selling. Other fights on the night are Obodai “Miracle Python’ Sai versus France Ramabolou from South Africa for the WBO Africa Middleweight Championship.

Aliu Lasis from Nigeria versus Mchanga Yohana from Tanzania for the WBC International Super Flyweight Championship, Natacha De Almeida from Sweden versus Julie Grande from Italy for the PFF Muay Thai PRO AM Bantamweight Championship.
