Three Ghanaian Boxers Will Mount The Ring This Month In USA

Ghanaian trio will be mounting the ring this month to defend the Red, Gold and Green flag in USA.

The three boxers are, Duke Micah, Frederick Lawson and Isaac Dogboe.

Micah will be the first boxer to mount the ring. The WBC international bantamweight champion will make his second defense of his belt by fighting experienced Yoan Boyeaux from France.

The clash will come off on April 21st at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, USA.

On April 27th, Lawson will take on Japan’s Baishanbo Nasiyiwula in the first round of the ‘Jose Sulaiman World Invitational Tournament’ at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, USA.

The clash will be Lawson’s third fight since returning from a two-year hiatus.

Lawson after returning from a jaw injury defeated Sakima Mullings and Fidel Monterrosa Munoz.

For Isaac Dogboe, he will challenge Jessie Magdaleno for the latter’s WBO World super bantamweight belt on April 28th in Philadelphia, USA.

Dogboe set himself up against Magdaleno after stopping Cesar Juarez in round five on January 6th, 2018 at the Bukom Boxing Arena to win the interim WBO World super bantamweight.
