West African Boxing Union suspends President Remi Aboderin
West African Boxing Union have announced the ousting of Remi Aboderin as its President.
This followes alleged corruption practices by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control’s Secretary-General.
He is accused of misconduct by WABU members, a claim Aboderin has denied, insisting “they want to destabilise the boxing body”.
African Boxing Union is expected to “appoint the person to handle” subsequent activities of the Union.
