Trainer of the just defeated Ugandan boxer Frank Kiwalabye has voiced his disappointment at both the referee and the judges on the night for their controversial defeat to former world champion Joseph Agbeko of Ghana.

Vincent Kato was visibly unhappy with the outcome of the fight which took place last Friday at Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana.

“The referee was not fair. He favored Agbeko too much but lets pray that he accepts a rematch.” Kato belched.

The former bantamweight champion visited the canvas twice within the scheduled twelve rounder but still managed to come out tops based on ‘POINTS’ accumulation.

The Ugandan trainer is therefore calling for a rematch as soon as possible

“Yes we need a rematch. We’re ready even if it happens tomorrow” Kato stated.

The Ghanaian looked stamina suspect when the fight was warming itself to crescendo as Agbeko dropped his gauntlet most of the times.

It confirmed Kato’s earlier interview with boxingghana.com when he stated emphatically that age was going to be a big factor for Agbeko.

“The Ghanaian boxer is very experienced boxer but age is now a big factor, this is where my boxer has a chance ” Vincent told boxingghana.com

It is not clear yet whether the newly crowned World Boxing Organization (WBO) Intercontinental Bantamweight champion Joseph ‘the king kong’ Agbeko  is ready to accept the challenge.

But one thing that was clear was the fact that the title could have gone either way because it was a close fight.
