“My name is Isaac Aryeetey, a professional boxer at Sea View Boxing Club. I am confident that as I keep training I will be undefeated, but when I slack on my training then I leave room for failure.”

“Professional boxing is not easy. I have support, but I know a lot of my friends who do not have anyone to help them. Isaac fights in the flyweight category and is waiting for an opportunity to wow the world. My mentor is Mike Tyson, I Love his style, skills, and knockout style.

“I am waiting for my chance to fight in the De-Luxy Professional Boxing League. My target in boxing is to travel and represent Ghana elsewhere. Fighting in Ghana helps build you up, but I believe the real prize is outside. When I travel outside, my dreams will come true. In Ghana, we train hard. Outside we achieve our dreams and bring those dreams home.”

Isaac Aryeetey had his debut in 2021 on the 17th of April under the Winbase Promotions fight night commissioned by the Ghana Boxing Authority with Edwin Evans as the promoter. The match maker was Mubarak Yusif Nanor.

“One thing that motivates me to come to training daily is the possibility of getting a huge pay-day in the future.” Isaac said.

Isaac began fighting as a boy and is happy to see how the boxing landscape has improved in Ghana. He commended initiatives that look out for the well-being of junior boxers. He explained that whiles growing up, he did not get the opportunity to win a scholarship, but young boxers today get funded to learn in school and at the gym. He advised young boxers to capitalize on this opportunity to work hard.
