The Greater Accra Boxing Association today at the City Engineers’ Office held its maiden Board Meeting to make plans for its programmes for the year 2022.
According to it’s Administrator Ms. Sarah Lotus Asare who doubles as the Assistant Organizer of the Association, boxing clubs and fans within the region (Greater Accra) should expect bigger and exciting events for 2022.
She revealed that all their major events which includes Girls Box, BooksB4Hooks, GABA Homowo Tournament and Novice Tournament will return bigger and better with new exciting programs also in the pipeline to be unveiled very soon.
Present at the meeting was Mr. Bernie Johnson (Chairman of the Association), General Secretary Alex Ntiamoah, 1st Vice Madam Edith, Coach Naa Amerley Turkson, Member, and Sarah Lotus Asare (Administrator and Assistant Organizer).
According to Ms. Sarah, the Association will soon outdoor their programmes for the year.
The Association according to it’s Administrator invites all corporate bodies within the Region to come on board to make boxing in the region great again.
“At the meeting, Alex Ntiamoah Boakye, CEO of Box Office Promotions pledged to support the Association with 10% of gate proceeds from his professional bout shows for 2022” Ms Sarah Asare disclosed.
