THE BLACK BOMBERS DEPARTS FOR JAPAN AHEAD OF THE OLYMPIC GAMES LAST NIGHT

The Ghana national boxing team, The Black Bombers headed by coach Ofori Asare after their vigorous training ahead of the Olympic games in Japan finalized their preparations with a visit to the President of the Republic of Ghana after which they made way to the Kotoka International Airport.

With much anticipation and expectation from the Bombers following their explosive exploits in their qualifiers and training sessions, it gives boxing lovers joy knowing their efforts can help win Ghana kaurels during these games.

 

The Black Bombers yesterday, 30th of June 2021 started their journey as they were cheered on at the airport making their check-in for departure from Ghana to Japan.

 

With many spectators and airport officials wishing the team farewell, BoxinGhana.com also sent their well wishes to the team.

The government, director of the National Sports Authority, GBA presidential hopeful, Dr. Manly-Spain among other all wished the team well with encouraging words.

Following the success of the Bombers representing Ghana at the Olympics, the spectators who were seen at the airport to see them team off continued to chant “Bombers for Gold”.
